About Us

We conserve modern and historic textiles: tapestry, embroideries, carpets, rugs, furnishing textiles, banners, costume, lace and ecclesiastical embroidery.

The business has been established since 2001 and operates from the Borders. We are accredited by Icon (Institute of Conservation) our professional body and our clients include; Historic Scotland, Glasgow Museums, National Trust of Scotland, Historic Houses and many private individuals.

Sophie Younger has an honours degree (B.A.) in textile weaving, a masters degree (M.Phil) in Art History and many years of conservation experience.
